The blue light treatment works for the sebum and pores and the red light can help with the inflammation of the acne. The blue light has far more research behind it. Different kinds of red and blue light treatments are available. Table top treatments can require you to do around 10-15 minutes of the therapy a day and 30 minutes to one hour a day if you are using a hand held red and blue light therapy device.
