Find out how to naturally treat your acne
from: MultiSkinCare.comWhen you have acne, you want to do whatever it takes to clear up your skin. There are a lot of products out there that claim to take care of the problem, but you have to be careful to remember that a lot of the products in the store are chemically based. You have to ask yourself whether it is better to use those products or go a natural route. Here are some natural ways to handle your acne so you don't introduce even more toxins to your face.
1. Buy plant and herb based products at the drugstore. To do this, you are going to have to get serious about reading the ingredients on the bottle. If you can't understand what you're reading, it may not be natural. Natural products that are herb and plant based are generally kinder to your skin and cause less irritation and reactions to clear your face.
2. Get on the internet and find recipes for homemade cleansers and masks. The internet has helped people for years to find the information that they want, and the same is true for those with acne. It is easy to get online and find any number of recipes and natural ideas for dealing with your acne. If you get nervous about trying something new, just try it on a patch of skin first. The good thing about natural remedies, however, is that much of the time you don't have to worry about side-effects at all.
3. Check out antibacterial substances to put on your face to remove the bacteria that can cause acne. You might find that the strangest things have anti-bacterial properties! For example, garlic is a wonderful anti-bacterial, as is apple cider vinegar. Both may be used in small doses on the face.
4. Change your diet. If you are battling acne but still eat cheeseburgers and pizza every day, you are sabotaging yourself and setting yourself up for failure. You need to change what you are eating in order for your skin to start glowing again. You have to remember that food is just fuel for the body, and what you fuel your body with is what you're going to see in the mirror.
5. Drink more water. Most people do not drink enough water, and that is a mistake. Make sure to have eight to 10 glasses of water every day. Your body is mostly water, and you have to replenish your stores anyway, but when you have acne it's especially important to drink water because water flushes toxins. By drinking more water, you keep your face hydrated and you get rid of the germs that make acne in the first place.
6. Wear clothes in natural fabrics. You might think you have acne "just because", but a small change of changing the clothing that rubs against you every day may result in less acne on your body. You may be allergic to certain materials, or you may just find that natural fabrics do not irritate your skin as much.
Use the tips laid out here in order to rid yourself of acne by using natural means to take care of your skin.
