Use Home Made Remedies To Cure Your Acne

from: MultiSkinCare.com

Acne is everywhere. It seems as though everyone either has it or knows someone close to them that does. With it being such a prevalent condition, many people are trying fancy new products in an attempt to cure it. But what if I told you that you could probably clear up your skin with simple items in your home that you already have? This article will show you a few things to try at home to see if you can't beat that acne the all natural way.

A mixture of milk and yogurt can be a great way to cleanse your skin. Milk is very hydrating and won't dry your skin the same way water and other cleansers will. The yogurt can help to replace bad bacteria on your skin with good bacteria instead. This good bacteria can kill the infection on your skin that is causing the acne breakouts.

For spot treatments to dry out blemishes, try some lemon juice or vinegar. Again, these will dry only the spots that you want to and not the rest of your face. The lemon juice will also help to bleach the spot, reducing the redness that often comes with blemishes and can make them more noticeable.

Castor oil or olive oil are wonderful moisturizers for your skin. They will lock in moisture for long periods of time, but won't clog your pores the way so many other things will. Just remember with these that a little goes a LONG way. You only need a drop to moisturize your entire face and even your neck area.

You can make a mask for your skin using a variety of ingredients. Mashed up bananas or avocados are very moisturizing. The banana can also have a skin tightening effect. Oatmeal can be very soothing and calming for inflamed or irritated skin. Any of these can be applied to your face; let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes and then wash it off with warm water and a cleanser.

Sometimes the best way you can combat something like acne is to treat it from the inside out. Be conscious of what you are putting in your body. Stay away from heavy, oily, greasy and fried foods. Instead eat lots of whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Chocolate and coffee can also be triggers for some people.

As was stated at the beginning of this article, so many people are affected by acne that it is basically an epidemic. The good news is that there are few if any ill side affects to your health as a result of it. The bad news is that it can cause a lot of issues for your skin, many of which can last for years after you have cleared it up. Follow the tips here for creating natural remedies at home and see if you can fight your pimples, blotches and irritated skin with some simple ingredients you probably already have on hand in your pantry or kitchen.
